There’s a lot of bondage on our stage in Children of the Night. Not the kinky, consensual BDSM that can bring fire back to a dwindling romance, but the “I’ve tied you up to kill you” & the “We need you to scream & bring your friends” sadistic varieties. This is an important distinction – sadism is finding joy in the suffering of others, while bondage (with or without pain) can be either a) a handy plot device, b) a kink, or c) a plot device that also winks and nods at the kinks of an audience.

We make no apologies. Quite the opposite; you’re welcome! These parts are entertaining to watch and rewarding/challenging to play.

At Prost Stage Productions, we do want to be clear that we prefer our bondage to be loudly consensual, and would like to give a clear trigger warning that we have scenes with bondage played for humor and scenes with it as an accessory to depravity. In no way do we wish to imply that a person, couple, or orgy that involves bondage for pleasure is innately evil, harmful, or overly open-minded. Unfortunately that trope is used far too often and is just plain lazy. After all, a little bit of rough play or slap and tickle always makes one appreciate the snuggle afterwards, in our opinion.
